[update: please note, that you CAN use your existing material in the demo, the stuff you making can be published by you before... so the assembly general rules are not valid on that point. So you are free to use your ASM2002 flash demo to promote ASUS products, for example]
ASUS “I Have a Dream…” Flash Demo Competition
The goal is to create a cool Flash Demo highlighting ASUS’ complete line of products and “jazz up” company image. The demos are to be use on ASUS’ company website.
Please check ASUS www site www.asus.com.tw for full information about the different ASUS products. If you have questions about the competition itself, please come and talk to ASUS stand in the sponsor alley.
Here are the rules:
- entries must follow general Assembly flash demo rules
- maximum length of flash demo is 60 seconds
- maximum resolution is 640x480x32b
- maximum size is 2MB
- must display the ASUS logo
- feel free to include any text and audio
- Add sponsor logos in the last frame ( Intel Pro and Intel logo
can be downloaded from www.asus.com.tw/event/assembly2002/intel.htm )
- entries must start from black screen and end to black screen
- entries must be submitted before 23:59 EET August 9th, 2002
- winners will be selected by ASUS representatives
- the entries can have small copyright information (yours) at
the end of the demo, but cannot include any greetings or other
ASUS unrelated material
- you can use your own existing material on this demo
The entries must be submitted within the competition time via EMAIL to following address:

The jury will look the following items in all the entries:
- Style and good taste
- Creativity
- Promoting ASUS products in general
- Following of the company image
Prizes:
Grand prize: EUROS 1,000 and the ASUS V8420 Deluxe VGA
2nd prize: EUROS 800 and the ASUS P4B533-E motherboard
3rd prize: EUROS 500 and the ASUS 32X CD-RW
Please let your imagination flow and prepare the best ASUS flash demo ever. ASUS reserves the rights to use all the competition entries on their website in the future. By entering to the competition, you agree to abide all the rules written herein. ASUS will contact the winners directly after the selections have ended.
