Game Technology Seminars Welcome to Game Technology Seminars. What Five separate one-hour seminar sessions covering five gaming related technology topics by five individuals who are experts in their fields. Why The demo scene is a unique community where talented people can learn to become highly skilled in the arts of programming and audiovisual design. This is something that no school can teach. Many veterans in the gaming industry have either started from the demo scene or have followed it closely with respect. Some of these people are now taking the opportunity to present the demo scene with topics, which will hopefully lead to interesting discussions and new ideas. Speakers Tim Sweeney Tim is a well-known game industry figure, who is best known for programming the technology behind the award-winning Unreal games. Tim has followed the developments in the demo scene since the early 90s and visited Assembly in 1994.
